Vybeshift

Breathwork and sound healing · Los Angeles

Roni Yohanan performs as Vybeshift, from Los Angeles. Her work sits between music and practice: guided breathwork first, then sound (crystal bowls, handpan, and what she calls earth-inspired instruments) to settle the body into what the breath has opened.

“There’s something so alive and emotionally expressive in every Ayasa instrument I’ve touched. Every note feels perfectly warm & spacious, allowing me to access a beautiful meditative state to create my music every time I sit down to play.”
Vybeshift

The breathwork is a deliberate mix of grounding and activating: pranayama, Qi Gong-inspired movement, Tibetan technique, guided intuitively but always aimed at the nervous system. What follows is the integration: the part of a session where the body stops working and starts receiving.

She reaches for the handpan for what it does to a room rather than what it can be made to do. Quieter mental chatter, a slower pulse, the drop into the theta and delta states that deep rest lives in.

Outside her own sessions she records with other Ayasa players, including Malte Marten and Johann Immanuel, whose long-form meditation pieces have carried the instrument well past the handpan world.
